Ku-Ring-Gai School Mural,
Sydney, NSW.

A mural for a school in Ku-Ring-Gai. Inspired by the Australian native plants and flowers within the local area, inspiration and knowledge was drawn for the artwork thanks to an incredible and informative workshop led by the 100% aboriginal owned business Bush to Bowl.

Adam Byrne from Bush to Bowl delivered a hands on workshop explaining how to identify and use a range of traditional edible plants used by Aboriginal people for medicinal, educational and nutritional purposes.

The artwork features a range of these plants and includes the Lilli pilli fruit, Wattle seed, Midyim berries, Banksia serrata, Waratah flower, Golden wattle, Pig face plant and the Grass tree.
